The Surge Passport NFT: Everything You Need to Know

With the laser-focused mission of onboarding more womxn into the rising Web3 industry, Surge is announcing the launch of the Surge Passport NFT: a golden ticket into the crypto space.

After speaking to our community, it became clear that women are interested in becoming financially independent, investing in crypto assets, buying NFTs, and enjoying the returns that come with being a part of a decentralized space. 

However, getting into the blockchain game is not an easy task. It requires lots of technical reading, dissecting complex topics, diving into rabbit holes, and deciphering slang.

That’s why, for the past 6 months, Surge has been working hard at building an NFT collection that grants womxn with the most precious learning tool out there: skin in the game.

What is it?

The Surge Passport is a collection of 5,000 hand-drawn NFTs generated through our custom-built generative art algorithm. 

By owning one, not only do you get a beauuutiful PFP (proof of picture) to showcase on social media, but you will also have access to perks provided by top Web3 organizations who are mission-aligned in including more womxn in this male-dominated space.

What’s special about it?

We’ve partnered with some of the biggest organizations in the ecosystem to provide holders of the Surge Passport NFT access to fun and insightful perks across the Web3 space:

Why are we doing this?

Dedicated to accessibility and inclusivity for newcomers into the space, our presale list is designed to be fair, while also female-centric. We’re making sure that the cost of our NFT is affordable across the board. We’re pricing it under the ETH equivalent of $250 while guaranteeing that we provide perks worth more than the mint investment.

On the technical side, our all-star female engineering team is creating a smart contract that decreases your gas prices by 30%. We’re also opening up a pre-sale list to our community members to avoid gas wars and mint at the lowest price possible. We want a pain-free minting experience that amps you up about Web3!
